Your post is thought provoking, as a cis-gender, heterosexual individual I’ve never had to consider what part of myself to share. Your identity as a gay man is a big part of who you are, and it saddens me to think that even now you have to hesitate and think about the reactions you might encounter. I understand, though, as I hear every day of discrimination against the LGBTQ community.
