Valerie Kittell thank you. I’m thrilled I inspired someone to write short stories, they are my favorite to write and to read. I’m following your publication now and I look forward to reading your fiction, I’m sad that Medium doesn’t do more to promote creativity and it seems the site is trending more and more toward “true confessions” and “how to” articles. I like your idea of a bucket of water hanging overhead, I’ll keep that image in mind if I’m tempted to check the stats. 🙂
