Thanks for the link Karen DeGroot Carter. I’m still using Duotrope and Submittable to track submissions and search markets. Great job here summarizing each site. In the last year I’ve added an old-fashioned manual calendar/organizer to track contest deadlines. One more thing I’ve found using Duotrope on a regular basis- by searching and reading pieces published recently I can get a good idea of what’s trending in the literary market and what editors are tired of seeing. (No more zombies seems to be a common cry) One more thing I’d like to find is a list of which journals regularly submit to the Pushcart prize and other awards.
