I loved the twist on this! I had a record album with narrated stories and one of them was the girl with the black velvet ribbon. When it got to the part where her lover removed the ribbon and her head fell off she moaned the last line lol! It was certainly creepy to 12 year old me but I listened to that story so many times. I even wore a velvet choker when they were in style. Mine had a little cameo in the center.
